Towards EduActive teaching and Career Guidance

We believe education can be interactive, fun and respectful.

Our aim is to connect two worlds of education - experiential non-formal education system and formal education system of high schools.

Within this project we want to help teachers to bring and implement non-formal education into their daily practice. We want to empower them with competences of designing, running and reflecting experiential learning activities in their classes and actively build a learner’s centred approach with their students.

Results

Methodical guidebook of experiential education for teachers with a collection of practical activities.

The guidebook will help teachers to empower themselves in implementing the non-formal education in their school practice. The guidebook is tailor made and adjusted according to teachers' needs and offers a practical approach to work with experiential learning. It provides theory with all concepts and frameworks explained aligned with practical approaches and activities towards the classes. Teachers will find here practical steps on how to design, prepare, implement, reflect and follow-up the non-formal learning with their students. The guidebook brings practical examples of activities and their possibilities for reflection and debriefing.

Experiential education curriculum for future career choice

A practical 1-year subject, including complete lesson plans, for high-school students who are facing the choice for a future career path. The curriculum contains a set of practical experiential education activities such as workshops, role plays, games, discussions or outdoor activities. All of these activities are classified in the lesson plans according to the key skills relevant for the current labour market. After finishing the curricula plan, students are able to make a more conscious decision about their future career path - the curriculum offers a simple self-evaluation providing guidance for next career steps.

Training of teachers

We developed the training of teachers in order to fully empower them to work within the non-formal education environment and implement the created project outcomes. After attending this training course the teacher will be able to independently use the guidebook and activities from curricula.
